Gunst.de clutch release bearing?

Beitrag von hdevo » So 6. Aug 2017, 13:32

Hi everybody
Excuse me for witing in English but my German is quite bad.
I understand so feel free to write in German.

Gunst.de, lots of forums point to this company in case of clutch release bearing problems.
They seem to sell a clutch release bearing very well suited to solve the TR6 sticky clutch problems.

Does anyone know what product this in and where to buy?
The gunst.de site point to a furinture store so I guess Gunst might be out of business.

Thank you.

You are right, Joachim Gunst died in 2012, his business wasn't take over from any successor. In deed he developed a lot of improvements espacially for the TR-series.
As I'm not a TR6 owner, I think that others here in the forum can give a better answer to the TR6 clutch problems.

Rolf

...afaik, the remaining parts of Gunst are taken over from a company near Heidelberg. You see them sometimes offered in Ebay.de.
I'll look, to get the address.

Wolfgang

edit: found it, if you send me a PN with your Email addrss, I'll mail the information

Thanks everyone.
We have removed the bearing and polished the inside real hard.
Put it back with copper grease.
Since then drove 300 miles without problem.
